Open rehearsals are held on the third Tuesday of each session. In the 2006/7 season, the dates are
18th September 2007, 22nd January 2008 & 15th April 2008

Both listeners and singers are strongly encouraged to see HCS “at work” in these open rehearsals. For listeners, this will give a most interesting insight into the music being rehearsed and to see how the choir sets about learning pieces for performance. There is also the opportunity to compare the choir’s readiness for the concert at that point and then come to the concert and see what the final result is! For singers, it gives the opportunity to both hear the choir and also to find out what the atmosphere and ethos of the Society is week-by-week. If it is to one’s taste, then there is the opportunity to join!
