page contains reminders about some of the things that are
important to the success of the choir. At the moment there
is a note about the 75% attendance at rehearsal ruling and
a note about hired music. If there are other things that could
usefully be covered, contact us.

HIRED MUSIC
- points to remember :
- If you return music late (i.e. after the concert to which
it applies) there will be a fine.
- The adage “return music in the state you would like
to receive it” is relevant. Both
these points are VERY IMPORTANT. When we
hire music, it causes significant problems if the number of
copies ordered are not available because another choir has
not returned all that they hired. Comments are often passed
about the poor state of copies. Sometimes this is due to age,
but if you could see the state of some of the copies returned
after being hired by HCS, you would not be so surprised by
what you get. The next person is unlikely to be interested
in your shopping list or the dates/times of rehearsals or
your favourite telephone numbers (probably!) or appreciate
your part being highlighted or especially bits that have been
crossed out.
